Recently Facebook Messenger also added Dark Mode on its platform, including Google Chrome and some other Google Apps. Not only this, OnePlus has already given Dark Mode in its Android based Oxygen OS some time ago and its speciality is that this Dark Mode is system wide i.e. the entire system is applied.

There is no doubt that users like this mode a lot, so Google has also given this mode system wide on its latest Android version Android Q. Now WhatsApp is also going to add this mode. Let us know that WhatsApp has not yet announced its official, but you can still make your WhatsApp dark. However, this mode will currently only work for users whose smartphone has the latest Android Q Beta OS. Let's know how to turn on WhatsApp Dark Mode in Android and iOS.

ACTIVATE DARK MODE ON ANDROID

First step: First of all go to the Settings of your smartphone and tap on the Display option inside it.

Second step: Now tap on the 'Select Theme' included here and click on the included Dark option.

Third step:
Now inside your settings you have to go to the 'Developers Options' included below.

Note: If the Developers Options tab is not coming in the settings of your smartphone, then you can activate it by clicking seven times on the Build number included in the About phone under Settings. As soon as this is done, an extra tab of Developers Options will be included in the settings.

Fourth step: Now go to the Developers Options and click on 'Override force-dark'. By doing this you can apply Dark Mode on any supporting app.
As soon as you do this, Dark mode will be activated in your WhatsApp, but the white or background set by you will still be visible inside the chat.

Fifth step: To fully experience the experience of Dark Mode, go to WhatsApp Settings and click on the 'Wallpaper' option and click on 'None' there.

By doing this your WhatsApp will work completely on Dark Mode.

Now if you talk about iPhones with iOS, then to activate WhatsApp Dark Mode, your device must be on iOS 11 or above.

ACTIVATE DARK MODE ON IOS

First Step: First of all go to the Settings tab of your iPhone. Click on the Accessibility tab included on the General tab here.

By doing this, Dark Theme will be applied in all the apps of your iPhone.
